Your privacy choices

California law requires a clear place to exercise your privacy rights. This is it — and the headline is short.

We do not sell or share your personal information. We never have, and there is no opt-out to click because there is nothing to opt out of. We also run no third-party advertising or analytics trackers, so there's no cross-context behavioural advertising happening either.

What you can do

Access your data

Everything we hold is visible in the app — your profile, your dogs, your beacons. For a machine-readable copy of the specific pieces we hold, email us and we'll send it.

Correct your data

Edit your profile and your dogs at any time from your profile page. Changes take effect immediately.

Delete your data

Delete your account from your profile page. It cascades — dogs, memberships, messages, friendships — and purges your photos from storage. No retention period, no “deactivated” limbo.

Limit sensitive data

Nothing to limit — we don't collect sensitive personal information as the CPRA defines it. Location is stored rounded to a neighborhood, never precise.

Global Privacy Control

We honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal. Since we don't sell or share personal information, it has nothing to stop — but it's respected rather than ignored, and it always will be.

Making a request

Use the in-app controls where they exist, or email privacy@muffinbiter.com. We verify you by confirming control of the account email address, respond within 45 days, and may extend once by 45 more with notice. An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf with written permission.

We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right — no degraded service, no different pricing. We don't run financial incentive programs for personal data.

Metrics

We publish no request metrics yet because the volume is below the threshold that requires it. If that changes, they'll appear here.
